Pressure in "Crabbe"

 

             In my novel Crabbe, pressure is the most important element, it changes the

protagnist Crabbe a lot. The first kind of pressure Crabbe faces is from his

parents. Crabbe is a very smart guy and he has very good mark. His parents

 want Crabbe to go to university, Force him to study and they refused to let

 him do what he wanted. This pressure makes Crabbe feel angry and rebel. In

the story, Crabbe told his Dad "From the very beginning you've treated me like

a two-year-old. I'm supposed to bare my bloody soul to total stranger who's

already decided I'm a suicide. Why don't we talk at these stupid meetings? Why"

 (Crabbe Pg.17) He does not want to listen to his parents anymore, So he

decided run away from the home. In the story, it's says "One night, just before
 
the final exams.18-year-old Crabbe- smart, rich, yet unhappy and semi-

slcoholic-packs his gear and drives away into woods to disappear completely".

Second, Crabbe faces a new kind of pressure in the forest, He feels so lonely

 when living in the forest by himself. He did not get ready for life out here. He

 has no clothes to keep warm, and he is scared at night, everything dark makes

 him panic, In the story, It's says "A short time later I awoke, hungry and very

thirsty" (Crabbe Pg.64) It cause him to begin to find the way out until he falls

 from the waterfall, a girl named Mary saves him, Crabbe then begins living

with her and she teaches him how to live in the forest. During this time, Crabbe

 learns how to love and get along with others from Mary. In the end, the

pressure chaned Crabbe from an angry rebel and semi-alcoholic boy to a good

and considerate boy.

Connecting a Theme

     In my book Crabbe, the most important theme is pressure. Pressure means that force someone toward a particular end.
     Pressure can be find in the beginning of my book, Crabbe's family and his teacher force Crabbe to do the things that he doesn't want to do. It's make a lots of pressure for Crabbe, and let Crabbe make a decision: ran away from the home. This decision influence all the book and also make the book. So it's the most important theme in my novel.
     What I can learn from this theme is do not force someone to do the things that they do not want do.It's unfair, and maybe causing some unexpected things happen.

Justice Or Injustice

         In my novel, both justice and injustice are two very important elements, the whole book is based around Crabbe's relative's injustice forcing him do things that he doesn't like. And Crabbe revolts them.
        One situation of justice in my novel is how Crabbe's teacher and his parents wants Crabbe listening them and doing what they want. His teacher wants him to have a good mark, his parents wants him to go to university. They want him to live their lives. At the end of the book, Crabbe told his Dad he wants to be himself.
        This situation is justice because everyone cannot force others to do the things that they don't want to. Parents can't force either. Crabbe's parents want him to go to university, but it's making Crabbe feel bad causing him to run away. We as the audience must know not to force other people. Its unfair and wrong.

Second Post- Identify And Sort.

1.The five elements of my novel are characters, detail ,conflict,supspense,plot.
2.Conflict, suspense, characters,plot,details.
3.In my novel, conflict is most important part. Because it promote the development of novel .And almost cause of thing is conflict-induced.
4."One thing I learned pretty quickly at high school was that it doesn't pay to be honest, to be yourself .I had already learned to play the game at public school but at high school they stuck it to me really good. The thing was. they'd ask you questions but they didn't listen to you ;they weren't interested in what you said.Why ask a question if you don't care what the answer is ? What the teachers really wanted you to do was guess what they wanted you to answer and if you guessed correctly ,you were"right.""(Crabbe Pg30)
I chose both of this citations because the passage show Crabbe how to felt the school. And here is show a conflict too, Crabbe and teacher. This conflict make Crabbe disgust teacher and school. It is leads to the following.

First Post

             1.The kind of literature i enjoy to reading is ficition ,because its Interested me, the favorite genres for me is horror and comedy , these kind of genres can let me excited and let me keep reading.
             2.The last two books i read were The Stand ,and other one i forget the name ,its talk about a deaf person camping with others and how to become friends. The description of The Stand is “this is the way the world ends: with a nanosecond of computer error in a Defense Department laboratory and a million casual contacts that form the links in a chain letter of death .”its really appealing to me.
             3.My favourite book to date is "The stand" ,its very Innovative, i still can remember the bleak new world of the day .
